Before you can Fire Your Boss you need to reduce or eliminate all credit card debt.

The most common question I get about credit card debt is which card do I pay off first?

Some so-called “experts” say it is the card with the biggest monthly payment while other “experts” say it is the smallest payment first.

The real answer is the card with the highest interest rate.

If you put your credit cards in order, the highest rate card should be paid as much money each month as you can afford – everyone else gets the minimum payment. After that card is paid off, go to the next lowest rate and so on.

Both the payment amount and the balance are irrelevant. It is the interest rate charged each month that costs you the most.

Coming soon…How to get extra income to pay off those damn cards once and for all!

Excitement and motivation are always at the highest level when first starting a new venture. This is particularly true when starting your own home-based business and get out of the rat race.

I have discovered three areas to keep an eye on to help make sure your path avoids common pitfalls…

1. Avoid Life’s Inertia

You may have already experienced this after starting your business. You set goals with great intentions but find yourself sidetracked by normal day-to-day life situations (work, taking care of the kids, taking care of the spouse, grocery shopping, going out to dinner, etc, etc).

Expect it. Know that it will happen and plan around it. Making a change for the positive is always tough. Making time can sometimes be really tough.

Find some sort of phrase that keeps you going. Mine is “Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying” from the film Shawshank Redemption. When I think of that, I always put my head down and grind through whatever challenge is in front of me.

2. Plan on Work

One of the first things to realize is that a job at home is no different than performing well in any business – it requires work (who would have thought?).

There is busy work and there is work that has a goal.

Just putting a few words on Facebook and Twitter does not constitute work. It is just “stuff.” Make sure you have a list in front of you everyday that shows things you need to get done.

Each of these “to do” items should be directly attributable to a way to make money or increase your business. If they are not, you probably should be working on something else.

3. Feeling You Are Not Ready

Let me say this, “You are ready”!

If you are putting off starting because you don’t want to make any mistakes, let me save you the time.

You will make mistakes. - Learn from them and move on.

Too many people analyze something to death. They stay on the sidelines always needing “one more thing” before they are ready to take the first step (and most NEVER take that step).

I am not suggesting you jump into the deep end right away. I am saying find ways to START. Start anything…small…and adjust from there.

I had a fascinating conversation with an individual awhile back and they pointed out that my success was because I did things my own way, “breaking the rules,” and took my own path.

They felt I got out of the rat race by ignoring traditional business “rules,” and that others may not be capable of the same path and be able to work from home (or work from anywhere for that matter).

I thought about that for quite some time.

The funny part is, that my successes were obtained not by ignoring the “rules,” but by making sure I knew what they were first.

When I failed at something it was, for the most part, due to taking too many shortcuts. I thought I understood the area I was going into, but I cut corners.

Later I learned that you could cut corners (or “refine your techniques” as experts like to spin it). But only after you know how the game is played and what the end result is suppose to be.

If I wanted to drive across the country, I have to know where I am going to start AND where I want to end.

If I just drive off down the road and start taking random turns I don’t know if they are really getting me to the end quicker or not. Without knowing where I want to end up, I could just make it a longer trip (a lot longer!).

“Rules” are no different than shortcuts. You can break the rules…but you need to learn them first.

Learn the rules and break out of the 9 to 5 rat race! Join the Fire Your Boss community by signing up for information, updates, and real (can you say no “BS”) information below.

Imagine your old-school, worn out, 9 to 5, dead end job (and boss) being kicked to the curb because you have done what most people only dream about.

No, I am not talking about winning the lottery. I am talking about becoming truly financially self-sufficient. Providing not only income for you and your family, but a dramatic lifestyle change as well.

This sounds too good to be true

Good point, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. First lets talk about what Fire Your Boss is NOT…

It is not a MLM program where you have to hit up your friends to buy magnets or some water found in the Amazon that makes hair grow.

Secondly, this isn’t some veiled attempt to get you to buy some new shiny object. I don’t have a warehouse full of CD’s or books to mail you. Heck, I don’t even have a warehouse!

So, who are you anyway?

My name is Fred Rewey, although friends call me “The Godfather.” No I am not in the “mob,” matter-of-fact, I am not even Italian; I have just built numerous businesses and created multiple ways to get income.

I even wrote a best selling book on personal finance to help others and I tend not to pull any punches when it comes to giving people “real world” information (not just some crud people want to hear).

When I am not traveling, I divide my time between Florida, the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina, and Florence, Italy.

What I found over the years is that teaching others to be financially independent is an incredible reward. Not some BS repurposed and rehashed training, but real information people can use NOW kind of training.

I spent over a decade helping thousands of people get ahead financially and dedicated the last 14 months to researching solid ways in this new economy for everyday people to become financially independent and get out of the 9 to 5 rat race!

So, tell me about it already!

First off, what makes Fire Your Boss so unique is that we are not talking about one way to make money; we are talking about potentially dozens of ways for you to make money.

Here is what you are going to learn joining the Fire Your Boss community…

First, I am going to reveal the BIGGEST secret about making money for yourself. You may want to kick the boss to the curb, but you better be ready for this first!

Secondly, I am going to show WHY most people fail. This seems obvious to me now, but I didn’t figure it out for almost ten years! Furthermore most people fail over and over again – never learning this important lesson.

Next, we are going to explore, together, different ways for YOU to make money. Not just revealing, specifically, HOW other people are making money, but know WHICH people to follow (HINT: Most of them you want nothing to do with!).

Lastly, I am going to pull out all the stops when it comes to giving you solid information – whatever the best method may be…

Emails? Sure. Downloadable Audio Files? Yep. Video Training? You got it! You are not going to believe what I have in store for you and the rest of the Fire Your Boss community.

How do you get in?

Sign up with your email address at the bottom of this post or off to the right where you see the big arrow. Don’t worry, I respect your privacy and treat our relationship very seriously. I NEVER sell your email address to anyone (just like I wouldn’t want you to sell mine).

I look forward to helping you achieve your financial goals…

Fred “Godfather” Rewey
